Description
Unique to Corvette Upgrade this popular hood is made from the tooling of the original manufacturer. Hand laid for top quality. Fits 3rd Generation Corvettes from late 1968 to 1972. Gain 2″ over stock. Plate steel has been bonded in to the frame. Purchaser must drill and tap for hinges, latches and prop rod. Scoop can be opened to allow functional cold air into the engine.
Competition model is constructed from mat and cloth to be very strong and does not use a stock frame. Must be pinned on. For the serious racer. Saves 10 lbs.!
